I don't find substack easy. Lots of p people say they find it the cosy corner of the Internet they've always wanted but I find I still have to deal with all the same things I do on other platforms. Its my mind and not the platforms themselves. That said I do like writing here too. Thanks for this helpful piece
I understand that, Claire. I agree that SS is in many ways a platform beset by all the same issues we experience elsewhere and that's because we (digital humans!) are the common factor. It's interesting I think when we use a platform for pleasure as well as business too, and for many of us that is the case. I wonder about the writers and creatives who don't feel they have a product to sell? Maybe they still feel the same, and consider their writing the product? Just thinking out loud!
